Day 30
We end our month devoted to movement on a special day, the anniversary of perhaps the most famous march in American history, the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. With around 250,000 attendees, the day culminated with speakers in front of the Lincoln Memorial, including a 23-year old John Lewis and, of course, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream.”
We hope this has been a month of intention, reflection, and action. You may have made it 54 miles, you may have made it less, you may have made it more. What matters most is that you engaged your mind, body, and soul.

Day 1
In honor of C.T. Vivian’s birthday, we’re starting My54 on July 30th. Since today is the first day (our own birthday, perhaps), we’d encourage you to try and ensure you try to do a walk, run, or bike today, knowing that we are a #My54 community, and others around the country and moving right with you. It can be short or as long as you want - remember, it’s just the beginning!
